Getting that shapely figure
It is not astonishing that most people equate beauty with a shapely figure. If you are not feeling positive about your body and how it looks as your age progresses, you may want to consider cosmetic surgery. Breasts are the number one item that people consider first when opting for cosmetic procedures. Many factors over the years can change the way that your breasts look. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, gravity, and aging in general are the main factors that lead to sagging and loss of shape.
To overcome the sagging and regain perky breasts, many women opt for a breast lift, in clinic terms known as a mastopexy. It lifts the breasts and gives them more shape thus increasing self esteem.
The breast operation is done by creating incisions made along the bottom of the breast, circling the nipple, and between the nipple and underside of the breast. This is known as a Wise pattern after the person who first developed the technique. If any, most incisions will not be visible. The area around the nipple is masked by the degrees in color between the breast and nipple. The bottom scar is concealed by the top of breast.
Following surgery, there will be a period of recovery of about four weeks. During this time, take care in only wearing soft cup bra’s and avoid bending or stooping excessively. If you have sutures, they are typically removed about a week following the procedure. Usually, there is a bit of numbness or tingling for a few weeks following the augmentation. Swelling and bruising is also normal and goes away after a couple of weeks.
Sleeping on your stomach is also discouraged as it aids in the discomfort. Lastly, you will want to bathe rather than shower to avoid getting your sutures wet.
